Pawel Sienkowski | Guelph Massage Therapist
Pawel Sienkowski
Registered Massage Therapist, HPC GuelphRegistered massage therapist Pawel Sienkowski joined the University of Guelph Health and Performance Centre team in July of 2019. His passion for improving health and performance first led him to the field of strength and conditioning where working with various athletes he saw the impact optimizing movement and reducing pain could have one's performance. This passion for optimizing health and performance further led him to intern at some of the top facilities in Canada and the USA in addition to completing multiple continuing education courses and eventually Massage Therapy.
Pawel now applies a holistic approach to treatment and training by addressing all areas of limitation patients may present with. His approach focuses on the source and cause of impairments to resolve issues not just for the immediate moment, but for the long term. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure," says Pawel. "Listen to what your body is telling you and try to be wise in the decisions you make when responding to it. A small five-minute investment into some recovery work after whatever activity you're doing can pay years of dividends on the back end in helping keep you pain-free and performing your favourite activities."
