Dr. Yeshale Chetty
Dr. Yeshale Chetty joined the Health and Performance Centre in July 2021 as a Sports Medicine Physician. Growing up he was involved in competitive squash, reaching a professional level prior to completion of his medical school at the University of Queensland, Australia. He later became a graduate of the McMaster University Family Medicine Program, followed by a Sports Medicine fellowship at Western University in London, Ontario. His scope of practice is non-exclusive to pediatric and adult; acute and chronic, primary care musculoskeletal injuries/sports medicine conditions. In addition, he continues to work in the area of student health. His special interest is in point-of-care interventional ultrasound for joint injections, peri-tendinous injections and many other musculoskeletal procedures.
Currently, Dr. Chetty also provides coverage as the team physician for the Guelph Nighthawks in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) as well as the Guelph Gryphons Football Team.
