Tyler Muirhead
Tyler Muirhead is a physiotherapist registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She earned an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in exercise science from The University of Ontario Institute of Technology and her Masters in Physical Therapy at The University of Toronto.
She believes in the importance of tailoring treatments to each patient’s unique needs, ensuring that rehabilitation is a personalized experience. This patient-centered approach promotes a holistic and sustainable recovery. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, seeking pain relief, or aiming to enhance your athletic performance, Tyler is here to support you every step of the way. In her practice, Tyler employs a combination of manual and exercise-based approaches to create personalized treatment plans that address the root causes of pain and discomfort.
Tyler has a wealth of experience working with a diverse range of sports teams and athletes, including basketball, rugby, soccer, field hockey, and ice hockey from recreational clubs to varsity teams. She also grew up participating in any sport she could including basketball, badminton, soccer, volleyball, and gymnastics, and was a competitive figure skater for many years. This allows Tyler to have a deep understanding of the unique challenges individuals face when striving for optimal physical performance.
