Physician Services, University of Guelph
Student Health Services Physicians function as your family doctor while you are studying at the University of Guelph.
Physicians can be seen for:
- periodic health exams
- illnesses or injuries
- mental health
- investigation of physical complaints
- treatment of acne
- sexually transmitted infections
- possible pregnancy
- stress-related symptoms or illnesses
- management of chronic diseases
- smoking cessation
- any other health or illness inquires
Physicians are available by appointment. Same-day appointments are also available for the sudden onset of illness or injury. See below for details.
Health Services medical staffing includes internal psychiatric support who provides consultation, case conference, and shared care with our family physicians in Student Health Services. Consideration for involvement of psychiatric support is arranged by referral from a Student Health Services family physician or through the University of Guelph Student Wellness Referral Form for External Use.

Appointments can be booked by calling 519-824-4120 x52131 between 8:30am to 4:30pm from Monday to Friday. For more information, visit the Booking An Appointment page.
Same-day appointments are limited and can be booked, by phone or by drop-in, from 8:30am Monday through Thursday until they are full. See Drop-in hours below.
The Student Health Services Drop-In Clinic has changed its process! All drop-in appointments are now required to be pre-booked. Students are asked to call 519-824-4120 x52131 to book an appointment first.
Drop-In Clinic Hours:
- Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays: 8:30am - 4pm
- Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 8:30am - 12:30pm
