About 20 per cent of women experience a postpartum mood disorder.  The symptoms can be a mild, moderate or server form of depression and anxiety.  Symptoms can be experienced at any time during the first year after giving birth.

Asking for help is recommended if you're struggling with emotional symptoms and adjusting to life with a newborn.
