Winter 2023 On-Campus STI Testing Day

Did you know that the most common STIs, like chlamydia and gonorrhea, show no symptoms and are easily treated? Don't stress about STIs, get tested and find out your status!

You can get tested at our free STI testing day on Tuesday, March 7 from 10:30am-3pm in the UC Courtyard. Come out to pick up swag, snacks, and resources and enter our draw for a chance to win a $100 Bookstore gift card! This event is hosted by Student Wellness and Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health.

How are the tests completed? 

  • Getting tested is fast, free, and easy, all you have to do is *pee in a cup! 
  • Follow this link to fill out the consent form ahead of time

*People with vaginas are also able to complete a self-administered swab test if they are not currently menstruating. Both urine and swabs test for chlamydia and gonorrhea.

What about HPV and other STIs?

HPV and further STI testing can be done in the clinic on campus with an appointment at Student Health Services Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:00pm (appointment booking details below). 

You can also get your HPV vaccine for free** while getting tested! HPV vaccinations are also available at Student Health Services year-round. **Eligible UofG students born in 2002, 2003 or 2004 qualify for the provincially funded free vaccine program. Students who do not fall under those age categories may have coverage through their health plan or family plan, you can visit SHS to determine your options.
