Shea Saniga
Registered Massage Therapist, HPC Guelph
Registered Massage Therapist, Shea Saniga, has been practicing since 2023 and started at the University of Guelph Health Performance Centre in early 2026. Her eagerness to treat patients with stronger knowledge and further her modalities led her to complete programs in both Fitness and Health Promotion and Massage Therapy at Georgian College, as well as completing a bachelor’s in Health and Leisure with Massage Therapy at Munster Technological University (MTU), Ireland. Shea strives to use evidence-based and client-centered care, with each treatment tailored to the individual’s needs.
Shea is committed to lifelong learning and is continually expanding her clinical skills through advanced education. Her additional training and certifications include Modern Cupping Therapy, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Indie Head Massage, and Halliwick Foundations. She is also completing the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association (CSMTA) Advanced Sport Massage program to become eligible to work with provincial and national level athletes, while pursuing certification in Dolphin MPS therapy for scar tissue treatment and vagus nerve stimulation.
With backgrounds in multiple sports and playing high level soccer for both her College and University teams, Shea understands the physical demands of sport and the importance of injury prevention, recovery, and performance. These experiences have fueled her interest in treating athletes and active individuals while also providing effective care for patients of all ages and activity levels.
