Shivam graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Life Sciences, and then went on to complete his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto. He has always had an interest in human movement as well as the connection between physical and mental health. This led him to pursue physiotherapy as a means of combining both passions with a career that would allow him to be of service to others.

Shivam strongly believes in a patient-centered approach to care. His ultimate goal is to help guide patients through their recovery and get them back to doing what they love. He aims for patients to take an active role in their care by equipping them with the right tools. Shivam engages the patient during the rehabilitation process by collaborating to establish goals that are meaningful to them. His clinical interests include treatment of the lower extremity and shoulder.

Shivam is always looking to build upon his current skillset. He is continuing to develop his manual therapy skills to be used in conjunction with exercise and education to deliver the best patient experience. He looks forward to working with you during your recovery and learning about how he can best help you.
