Lisa Wedel
Lisa is a bilingual (English/French) Registered Physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto and a BSc (Honours) in Biological Science with a French Studies concentration from the University of Guelph. A former varsity volleyball athlete and team captain, she brings first-hand experience in high-performance sport and a strong foundation in evidence-based rehabilitation.
Lisa is a graduate of the University of Guelph’s Sport Physiotherapy Fellowship at the Health & Performance Centre, where she continues to deliver both in-clinic and sideline care for varsity athletes and community sport organizations. Her clinical interests include orthopaedic, sport and paediatric physiotherapy.
Deeply committed to equitable access to sport and rehabilitation, Lisa has led and participated in local and international initiatives aimed at supporting underserved communities. She is passionate about giving back to the Guelph community that shaped her academic, athletic, and professional journey — and is proud to continue contributing to its health and performance landscape.
