Orientation Workshop

This 30 minutes virtual or in-person session occurs on various dates and times throughout September after the start of classes.   It is designed for students who are new to Student Accessibility Services and who did not attend START Accessible. It is an abbreviated introduction to our programs and services, and helps to ensure you've started the process of setting up any academic accommodations you might need.

Dates: Various dates during the first 4 weeks of classes

Schedule: Dates and times will be posted on the website by August 31st.  Students only need to attend one.

How to sign up: Students must submit an SAS Application Form in order to be eligible for the SAS Orientation Workshop.

  • Learn about the way SAS Advisors work collaboratively with students and faculty members
  • Learn about SAS resources and supports

Students will be assigned to an advisor and will be provided with a SAS registration appointment within the month of September.   For students who participate in the Orientation Workshop, priority registration appointments take place within the first 4 weeks of the semester.
