  • Email your SAS Advisor/SAS Coverage Advisor (Your Coverage Advisor’s name and contact information can be found in your SAS Advisor’s email auto-reply, if they are away at any time in the summer months)

Returning in Fall 2024 Semester: In-Person and Virtual Daily Drop-in 

Our Daily Drop-in resource has been created to provide you with timely assistance from SAS staff members. Same-day help is usually available from one of our Accessibility Assistants who can answer many general questions about process and procedures, as well as connect you with your advisor, if needed, to follow-up on more specific concerns. 

What Is Daily Drop-in For? 

Daily Drop-in is intended for students who have a time-sensitive concern related to academic accommodations or SAS procedures. Examples include getting help with: 

  • Using the SAS Student Portal 

  • Understanding SAS procedures or how to use your accommodations 

  • Booking exams 

  • Notetaking 

  • Borrowing equipment 

  • Requesting a letter about your accommodations or information from your file 

  • Accessible furniture in classrooms 

  • Barrier-free routes around campus 

  • General Questions about Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD) 

  • Figuring out what kind of help is available 

  • Anything that can't wait until your SAS Advisor's next available appointment 

 

Important: Tests & Exams

If you use the SAS Exam Centre, please remember that all test and exam bookings must be submitted at least 10 BUSINESS DAYS ahead of when you intend to write.

In addition, the last day any bookings can be received is the first business day in November, March or July as appropriate for the semester.
