SAS Daily Drop-in

Body: 

 Students can access timely, same-day assistance from SAS staff members

Our Daily Drop-in resource has been created to provide you with timely, same-day assistance from SAS staff members about SAS processes, procedures, or general questions related to your academic accommodations. We can also help connect you with your Advisor to follow up on specific concerns if needed.  


SAS Drop-In Schedule: 

Winter 2025 Semester:

  • Monday–Friday, 11:00am–12:00pm 
  • In-person (John T. Powell Building [1], 2nd Floor, Rm 2259)
  • Virtual (MS Teams Chat [2] – please click this link to be connected to a SAS staff member)  
  • Exam Hours: Regular Hours

Summer 2025 Semester:

  • Monday–Friday, 11:00am–12:00pm 
  • In-person (John T. Powell Building [1], 2nd Floor, Rm 2259)
  • Virtual (MS Teams Chat [2] – please click this link to be connected to a SAS staff member)  
  • Between Semesters: Between W25 and S25 semesters, the daily drop-in will be open virtually only, M-F 11am-12pm

SAS Daily Drop-In Can Help With: 

✓ Using the SAS Student Portal   [3]
✓ Understanding SAS procedures or how to use your accommodations  
✓ Booking exams  → Connect to the Exam Centre [4]
✓ Notetaking → Learn about notetaking  [5]
✓ Borrowing equipment  
✓ Requesting a letter about your accommodations or information from your file  
✓ Accessible furniture in classrooms  
✓ Barrier-free routes around campus  
✓ General Questions about Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD)   [6]
✓ Figuring out what kind of help is available  
✓ Anything that can't wait until your SAS Advisor's next available appointment
