Safely and Sustainably Increase Your Activity Levels

Thursday, January 19th, 2023 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM
Microsoft Teams - The event link can be found here [1].

After the holiday season, many of us may be trying to get back into our typical routines and start incorporating more physical activity into our day-to-day. But it may be overwhelming to try and find where to start safely in a way that feels good for your body and also is sustainable in the long term.

Our physiotherapy experts will teach you how to safely increase your physical activity levels during the winter months! In this talk, facilitators will:

  • provide practical and manageable ways to increase physical activity
  • discuss how increasing activity looks different depending on the type of activity (i.e. strength training vs aerobic training)
  • share different activity options for the outdoors vs going to the gym
  • answer attendee questions related to the topic

Register now [2]! You can submit questions when your register that will be answered during the talks.
