Kyle Bertrand
Kyle is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western University before completing her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.
A former member of the Western University Women’s hockey team, Kyle was fortunate to learn from incredible individuals who helped fuel her passion for sport and activity rehabilitation. Combined with her passion for anatomy and physiology, Kyle always enjoyed the connection between her studies and performance in sport and life. While at the University of Toronto, Kyle gained experience working with individuals of a wide range of activity levels, from recreational to varsity-level athletes across a variety of disciplines and served as a coach in the fitness and performance department. She takes pride in being able to help each individual understand their body and collaborate with them to reach their potential.
As a three-time U Sports Academic All-Canadian, she understands the dedication, resilience, and demands that come with pursing your goals. Her experiences have given her an appreciation of the challenges that may accompany an injury. Kyle believes in an approach that encompasses tailored exercise, hands-on techniques, and education to help you move forward, whether that's back to playing your sport, picking up your grandkids, improving performance, or recovering from surgery.
Outside of the clinic, you can find her lifting weights at the gym, running, cycling, travelling, or exploring the nearest farmers market.
