Aayush Mehta

HPC Guelph Physiotherapist

Aayush Mehta is a physiotherapist with a strong interest in sports rehabilitation, injury prevention, and helping active individuals return to the activities they enjoy. He completed his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Keele University in the United Kingdom, where he developed a strong foundation in evidence-informed assessment, exercise-based rehabilitation, and patient-centred care.

Aayush’s interest in sport and movement comes from his own active lifestyle. He enjoys playing basketball and soccer, weightlifting, hiking, and staying active in different ways. He also has a background as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, which helped shape his appreciation for teaching, communication, and helping people feel confident in their movement.

Aayush has a strong personal interest in health, fitness, and overall well-being. He enjoys learning about new evidence-informed approaches to training, recovery, injury prevention, and healthy living, and he brings that curiosity into his work with patients. His goal is to help people not only recover from pain or injury, but also build habits that support long-term health, confidence, and performance.

Aayush enjoys working with athletes and active individuals of all levels, whether they are returning to sport after an injury, getting back into the gym, training for a goal, or simply trying to move with less pain and more confidence. His approach focuses on listening to each person’s story, understanding their goals, and creating a treatment plan that feels clear, realistic, and motivating.
