Lyanne Martin

HPC Guelph Physiotherapy Fellow

Lyanne graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology (Honours) (2015-2020) and Master of Kinesiology (2020-2021). She recently completed her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Western Ontario (2022-2024). Lyanne’s passion for working within athletics and helping others achieve their physical, performance and rehabilitative goals derives from her own experiences as an athlete, coach and trainer. She has played sports both competitively and recreationally for much of her life. Lyanne played field lacrosse at Brock University and the University of Western Ontario and was an assistant coach with the Brock Badgers for the 2021-22 season. Lyanne has volunteered with varsity and community athletes since 2017 as a student strength and conditioning coach and student trainer at Brock and McMaster University. She continues to volunteer her time as a trainer with community teams. Lyanne enjoys working with individuals across all life stages and athletic abilities to achieve their personal and performance goals. She enjoys bringing activity and exercise into everyone’s life and takes an active approach to rehabilitation. When not in the clinic, Lyanne enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors and going on hikes. Since graduating, she has been interested in learning new sports such as pickleball, spikeball and running.
