Mark your calendars for these important dates & events! 


Important Dates:

  • June 15: Complete Your SAS Application Form
    • You will need to complete an SAS Application Form [1] after accepting your offer of admission. This form provides us with the relevant details about your disability and disability needs. 
    • NOTE: SAS will continue to accept applications & documentation after June 15th, however this may impact our ability to have accommodations in place for the start of the fall semester
  • June 15: Submit Your Documentation
    • You will be asked for documentation from a registered health professional which verifies the existence of a disability and describes your current functional abilities given the condition you experience.
    • Documentation & Form Guidelines [2]. Please note you may need to update your existing documentation. Contact us for additional assistance.
  • June - September: Attend Orientation Events hosted during the summer and fall to help you with your transition to the University of Guelph. View our orientation events [3] like START Accessible.
  • November 1 - March 1: Fill out Supplemental Information Form for Students with Disabilities [4]. 
  • Exam Booking Deadline: At least 10 BUSINESS DAYS in advance, and not later than the first business day of March, July, or November as appropriate for the semester. Get more information about Booking Exams and Deadlines [5]

  • Dates: Hosted at the beginning of Fall and Winter Semesters
  • Duration: 1 HR
  • Location: In-person & Virtual

Learn how to access your course due dates and test dates, fill out your calendar or planner with all the important dates for the semester, and tips and tricks for planning and success.
