High Orbit: Navigating a Safer Cannabis Use Galaxy

High Orbit is an interactive online learning experience for University of Guelph students. In less than 30 minutes, you will embark on a space-themed journey, exploring evidence-informed information about the use of cannabis and other substances. Designed with input from more than 60 U of G students, High Orbit recognizes that everyone’s relationship with cannabis is different, focusing on helping you make informed decisions that support your goals and overall health and wellbeing.

Through engaging activities, quizzes, and interactive content, you will learn about:

  • Different cannabis products and methods of use
  • Cannabinoids and cannabis potency
  • Lower risk use strategies
  • Cannabis and mental health
  • How to access campus and community resources or support a friend

Whether you currently use cannabis, have used it in the past, or simply want to learn more, High Orbit offers a welcoming, non-judgmental learning environment that encourages reflection and informed decision-making.

The module is available to all students at the University of Guelph. Students that complete the module by October 2, 2026, will be entered into a draw for a chance to win their choice of $1000 off tuition or 2x $500 gift cards to approved retailers.
