Guelph Osteopathy Treatment
Are you experiencing unexplained, ongoing or unresolved pain or physical discomfort? Consider osteopathic treatment: a client-centred approach to healing that identifies and addresses the sources of pain. Our Osteopath Manual Practitioner, Kelly Witherow, is now accepting new clients at the Health & Performance Centre in Guelph, Ontario. Osteopathic treatment is open to the public and covered by many benefits plans.
What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy uses skilled manual therapeutic techniques to assess and treat the sources of pain, supporting healing through the whole body. Your osteopath practitioner will complete a comprehensive physical assessment including questions about your overall health in order to pinpoint the source of your issue. Then, they will create a custom treatment plan to address the source of your pain, not just the symptoms. There are a variety of manual treatments that your Osteopathic Practitioner will employ, including myofascial release, cranial techniques, trigger points, and more.
Why Osteopathy?
Osteopathy treats acute or chronic pain, digestive problems, muscle pain, respiratory issues & many other physical symptoms. Because osteopathy addresses the sources of pain rather than the symptoms, patients with chronic or unresolved conditions could benefit from osteopathic treatments. In addition to treating injuries and chronic pain, osteo is also recommended as an ongoing treatment to help maintain your body's natural ability to heal itself.
