SAFE (Sexual Assault-Free Environment) Peer Educator Team promotes respectful healthy relationships and consent for the University of Guelph community through their creation of student-led educational social media campaigns, communication materials, online articles, programming and events.
SAFE collaborates with stakeholders across our campus and throughout our region to develop and deliver workshops and events that support a Sexual Assault Free Environment. Through collaborative programming initiatives, workshops and innovative events, S.A.F.E has developed into an important educational resource in supporting the prevention of sexual and gender-based violence.
SAFE introduces these topics to the University of Guelph campus community through annual events such as We Believe You Day [1] and Consent Action Week. [2]
