In 1994, the University of Guelph's Senate established a Academic Accommodations for Students with Disabilities, which describes the policies and procedures associated with our commitment to creating an equitable learning environment. This document has been updated several times as our legal and social understanding of disability-related issues have evolved. Our policy affirms important principles from the Ontario Human Rights Code and helps to translate them into action in our context. It also includes a descision-making framework and an appeals process.
As Approved by Senate
