An Overview: Concussions In Sport

An overview of the "Concussions in Sport" Symposium, which took place January 17th 2013 at the Health and Performance Centre. Sports doctor, Dr. Margo Mounjoy and physiotherapist, Brett Lyons discuss the definition of a concussion, diagnosis, treatment options, return to play, special populations and finally, prevention. This overview is not only a helpful tool for players but for coaches and trainers as well who are managing an athlete with a sports-related concussion.

"(Jason Smith) says, there’s a difference between health and performance and says there are a number of things I could do to become a better “athlete” — a word that in my case deserves quotation marks.
