All residents of Ontario over 6 months of age are eligible to receive the annual influenza vaccine at no charge. The vaccine is available at Health Services, your family physician, or through Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health or other public health units throughout the province.
Students are advised to speak with their academic counsellor before requesting a medical note for academic consideration. The medical notes are only given if there is a significant amount of grades involved - see Grounds for Academic Consideration for details.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive health promotion, disease prevention and primary medical care to full-time and part-time, undergraduate and graduate students and their families, as well as visitors to the campus. We contribute to the success of the University of Guelph's academic mission by meeting the health education and clinical care needs of its students.
