As of January 1st, 2018, the government of Ontario will initiate the OHIP Plus program which will provide medications free to those age 24 and younger with a prescription. After seeing your doctor or (nurse practitioner) and getting your prescription, take the prescription along with your health card or health card number to any pharmacy in Ontario – you don’t need a separate or special card.
The pharmacy will fill your prescription at no charge – you don’t pay a dispensing fee, deductible or co-payment.
Students needing to access Health Services' Walk-In Clinic are advised that our extended hours (Tuesday and Wednesday evenings until 7:00 pm) have been suspended until January 10, 2018. Regular Walk-In hours are 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, until December 15, 2017.
Our Walk-In Clinic will re-open on Monday, January 8, 2018, with extended evening hours commencing January 10.
Open to staff, students, faculty and community members! No OHIP card required. All clinics run 10:00 am - 4:30 pm. Please note that you are required to wait 15 minutes after your shot.
Please note that our Walk-In Clinic will not open until 1:00 p.m. this Tuesday, October 24, 2017.
The Student Health Clinic will be closed the following dates in order to move to their temporary location:
- Thursday May 11th
- Friday May 12th
- Monday May 15th
- The morning of May 16th.
The clinic will reopen on the afternoon of Tuesday May 16th.

Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health has confirmed 3 recent cases of mumps in the Guelph area. Mumps cases have been on the rise in Ontario in the last few months.
How is Mumps spread?
Mumps is spread through direct contact with droplets from an infected person (kissing, sharing drinks) as well as indirectly from contaminated surfaces. Many cases are in the 18-35 year age groups.
Health Services will be closed after 12pm on Tuesday, February 21st, 2017. We apologize for any inconvience, but we will resume regular operating hours the following day (Wednesday, February 22nd).
