SAFE (Sexual Assault-Free Environment) promotes healthy relationships and consent in the University of Guelph community. We address and educate students on issues of sexual assault, consent, healthy relationships, and partner abuse. SAFE collaborates with stakeholders across our campus and throughout our region to develop and deliver workshops and events that support a Sexual Assault Free Environment. SAFE introduces the topic of consent to every University of Guelph student in their first week on-campus by sharing The Date Safe Project’s “Can I Kiss You?” production during O-Week.
